UPDATE 2-Czech government backs $7 billion savings plan to cut soaring deficits

The Czech government approved on Wednesday a package of spending cuts and tax hikes worth 150.7 billion crowns ($6.97 billion) to cut deficits in 2024 and 2025, coming as the budget gap swells at a record pace already this year.
